Resin Research was opened for business in 1982 to supply high quality epoxy resins to the sailboard and surfboard industry. The products produced by these industries are among the most demanding for composite materials. These industries demand maximum strength and light weight, as well as clarity and UV resistance.
 
Most of our customers use traditional hand lay up production methods, so safety is of paramount importance. All our epoxies are based on modern cycloaliphatic resin systems and are phenol and formaldehyde free which dramatically reduces the chance of dermatitis or a sensitization reaction.
In our more than 25 years of business we have had opportunity to not only to refine our epoxies, but to offer a range of unique additives and modifiers that enhance their qualities and increase their range for specialty jobs.

Today our resin manufacturing headquarters is located in Tucson Arizona. We also continue to production from our original plant located in Indian Harbor Beach, Florida. Our resin systems have found wide acceptance throughout the U.S. along with our ever increasing distribution network abroad and can now be found in over 14 countries across the globe.
